Just in January and the goals don deh tire person already. What could be the 5 reasons, in this January only.

Today is just 15th January and I am tired of my goals. Or should I rather say I don’t know what my goals are anymore, or if I am even on track?

The question is why can’t you be on track consistently?

What is really stopping you?

I had a goal of giving you at least three posts a week, now it is seeming difficult as the day goes by.

But then, you see someone getting the results you wish to get and you begin to envy. Meanwhile, you were not willing to put in the work.

You no want put work, but you wan get money?

Omo, you are not alone o! The kind of plans I have for this blog, it’s even paining me that I cannot dish out content consistently, but then, I think I figured out why we are getting stuck, even at this point.

1. You did not write the goals down

You see that attitude of “I declareeee…” Egbon, off that attitude! Carry a book and write those goals down, write it with the time that you intend to achieve it; and also add the actions you intend to use to achieve those goals.

2. Garbage In, Garbage Out (GIGO)

Garbage In, Garbage Out.

You are an average of your environment. What you take in, affects your output. Audios, Visuals, information, that you receive through your ears and eyes, affects your output.

So, stop bothering about things that you cannot control, like politics, government policies, etc. and focus on those you can.

Read books, motivational books, finance books, self-help books, watch youtube videos on your development, take on helpful podcasts.

Make sure you are breathing in positivity and good garbage to help you stay on track.

3. Your environment

People normally think its where they stay. In this digital age, whether you stay in Diobu or you stay in Mushin, what matters is the environment you create.

On your social media, who are the people you follow? What kind of content do you consume? What kind of posts do you often see? Sanitize your environment too!

4. Procrastination

Stop procrastinating!

Never keep up to tomorrow, what you can do today! I mean, why can’t you do it today. Kiloshele! What is the reason why you will pack it and leave for tomorrow?

5. Fear

Fear

Everything you counted as a reason why you are not on track with your goals have now been set, yet you are shifting goal post. Agbaya, can you jump on the driver’s seat already? This is your life we are talking about.
